What is LILABS FileDepot?
The online software LILABS FileDepot offers a central platform for Web-based file sharing with business partners. It's a system for you, your employees, your customers and suppliers. FileDepot is similar to FTP, with more convenience and a more intuitive Web 2.0 interface:
Online data storage
Your FileDepot stores files which you want to access at any time from any place via Internet. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. From your office, your home or while you are traveling. You can store any kind of files and documents - whether large or small, image, video, text, PDF, ... The current business information for your team in the indoor and outdoor service. It can be used as product and support information for your customers and business partners or as top-level information for the management, etc. With individual access levels for each user, so you keep complete control.
Online file-sharing/exchange space
Exchange files with your colleagues and business partners and gain precious time, because you can be sure that even large files reach their destination safely and quickly. With a few clicks you or your business partner upload files and inform comfortably the intended recipient, who can also download the files with a few clicks only.
Online Data Backup
You deleted files accidentally? Your hard disk is damaged or stolen? Virus alert? No problem – you can simply load your data from FileDepot back to your system and continue working as if nothing had happened.
Send, receive and provide files
Regardless of whether you send files to a business partner, receive them from him or want to provide files around the clock, it's always: 25 files per step can be uploaded into FileDepot. After the upload the recipient can be informed via an automated email. Intelligent Download: if you mark several files per download, they are automatically combined into an archive.
User / Group Management
You can quickly and easily create, edit, and delete users and combine them into groups in order to achieve efficient management. By enabling a user to access, all data is automatically sent by email ensuring him the immediate opportunity to work with your FileDepot.
File / Folder management
You can manage files and folders in FileDepot in the same way as in your operating system: create, rename, delete, copy, move.
Access & Rights control
You can define rights and control access per user or group: upload, download, delete, manage users, manage folders, administration.
Statistics & Activity Log
Keep track: a dashboard summarizes all relevant information together at a glance. Details can be obtained thanks to the activity log that records every event in your FileDepot.
MyFileDepot, including subscription management
Each user can control his own personal settings in his MyFileDepot, such as subscriptions to folder changes, maintain their personal data and manage their password.
File preview / File Search
Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference. A preview for various file formats helps you to quickly find the correct file and in particular to organize images. Forgot where a file is or how it's called exactly? The search option will find it for you.
Recent Events
Most of the time the user is mainly interested by recent events, therefore these can be found on the homepage - of course taking into account the personal access rights.
Immediate use via web browser
Since FileDepot is an online software, all you need to use the system is a browser - no installation, no special plug-ins, etc.
